The cupcake sale at Madison-Plains was a hit!! By the time the third and final lunch of the day rolled around, I only had 3 cupcakes left!!
Huge high five to all the wonderful kids that snagged all my cupcakes for a sold out event and a huge benefit to breast cancer. I can’t thank you enough Eagles!
I’ve been hard at work coming up with the new flavors, recipes and descriptions. And since its the first of the month, why not set a deadline, eh? They’ll all be up on the site by late this evening!!
Be sure to check them out. Not only will there be many more cuppie cakes, but some few items entirely will make their debut!
Keep a look out, I want to feed you sweets.

Busy busy busy.
Lots of new things to come! Tons of new flavors are going to be making their way to my menu! Maybe even some entirely new goods all together, we’ll seeeee.
Tomorrow I am donating 8 dozen cupcakes (4 doz. Vanilla Buttermilk and 4 doz. Chocolate, both with Strawberry Buttercream) to Madison-Plains High School in London, Ohio to be sold during lunch. Except this isn’t your Mama’s cupcake sale! All the proceeds coming from the sale will be handed over for breast cancer research!!
So, let’s go Golden Eagles! Buy up these delicious treats for an amazing, amazing cause!!
Also tomorrow, I’ll be whipping up a few batches of muffins! Get pumped for a little Maker’s Mark Cherry or Fresh Raspberry Black Currant, or both!! If you’re interested, don’t be shy, shoot me a message! If you’re in the local Columbus area, delivery is free of charge. So, come on now, how can you pass up a deal like that? Especially when it gets you out of making breakfast Saturday morning.
All around, great idea.

This coming week I’ll be making a huge batch of Edna Rabbits sammiches. Submit your order to JaneDoughCbus@gmail.com!
Pricing is now available for all of our wonderful creations on The Goods page.
Also, keep checking back for updates here soon. The menu will be changing slightly as we overhaul products, names, and seasonal offerings.
If there is something you’d like to see on the JD menu, please share!! We’re always looking for new additions to our sweets arsenal!
The Jane Dough menu is now posted under “The Goods!”
Some of you may notice a few flavors that you submitted from The Namesake Challenge are now on the menu as well. Even if they didn’t win, I can’t pass up a good idea!
There will be constant updates, revamping, and rearranging from here on out, so be sure to check back often.
The time has come! After a week of submissions for The Namesake Challenge, some delicious, some just odd, the votes have been cast and the winners have been decided. This is where you’d insert the drumroll.
And the winners are…
Robert, @chinesebob, with lemon blueberry
and
Kelley, @kelley_b, with mocha espresso!!
Yaaaay!!
Each winner will receive a free dozen of their flavor combination, as well as getting to name their cupcake before its added to the Jane Dough menu as a permanent staple!
Congrats guys!
Stay tuned for more updates this week. I’m getting this thing rolling, its time to get on the map!

Its been a while folks, I know, but I’m back in action! And to kick off this incredible occasion, I know you all can barely contain yourselves, I’m holding a contest. A good ol fashioned challenge!
The Namesake Challenge - Its all very easy, and there are three ways to enter, but we’ll get to that here in a second.
What’s your favorite flavor combination? Its doesn’t matter what it is. Strawberry and banana? Fine! Grilled cheese and tomato soup? Okay! Pickles and ice cream? Maybe a little gross but yep, I’ll take it! Submit your ideas (ohhh yes, you can enter more than one!) in one of three ways.
Please be sure to leave your name, Twitter screen name (if you have one), and email address with your entry. Deadline for submissions is July 17th 2010. If there are any duplicate entries, the first one will be honored.
Here’s the good stuff. The top two entries will receive a dozen cupcakes of their fabulous flavor concoction, FREE! But, not only that, this super tasty Jane Dough creation will forever be named by or after its flavor inventor. Yep, you heard me alright. Your very own cupcake named after your little ol self! Pretty fantastic, right?
So get to thinking, cramming, pondering, what have you. You’ve got one week to be part of Jane Dough history!
